Thua Thien Hue

Hue is one of the many cultural heritage. So far, no one area that has a large number of relics and monuments that still retain its shape as inherent in this ancient capital.




In the northern shores of the Perfume River is a relic of the castle built by forming a defensive type of road 11km long arc. Valuable works include more than 100 architectural works, really reflect the life of the king of the Nguyen dynasty. Between the hills at the banks of the Perfume River South are very beautiful tombs of Nguyen Kings. Among the most famous four tombs each tomb is known under the name consistent with character of each king and architecture of each tomb. This is majestic Gia Long Tomb, Minh Mang Tomb oai style, poetic Tu Duc tomb and magnificent Khai Dinh.



Hue is also an important center of Buddhism. in Hue and the surrounding area still exist tens of pagodas were built over 300 years ago and hundreds of temples were built first century.

Besides, Hue is considered a cradle of music imperial palace, where many traditional famous dishes and sophisticated handicraft.



Is the only city in the country is still the look of a medieval city and the architectural integrity of the monarchy. Hue has become a great and invaluable museum. Therefore, the government has classified relics in Hue ancient capital as an extremely valuable asset and December 1993 Hue has been classified as UNESCO world cultural relics.
